About

William Carey University has served students in the South Mississippi area for more than 100 years. Currently, three William Carey University campuses exist. They are located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Gulfport, Mississippi; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Named for the father of modern missions, William Carey University encourages students to “expect great things from God and attempt great things for God.” The small size of each campus setting offers an atmosphere that fosters the development of relationships with peers and professors. Professors have a genuine interest in the development of students as individuals and as Christians. Students are much more than just a number at William Carey University.
